In a world with so many lies being told, so much corruption controlling things, and being decieved by many teachers and leaders that we are suppose to trust, blind faith can be a very dangerous thing.
Faith must be based on evidence in one form or another. Evidence that we base our faith on does not always have to be physical proof or knowledge gained through experience only, faith can also be aquired through spiritual and intuitive evidence that is "felt" in the heart and relayed to the mind to be trusted and true.
Blind faith is not really having any faith at all, blind faith is in many ways trusting with no evidence at all within the self and often times accepting an illusion or delusion to be true and real. Having faith that you can trust in and work with in truth is most often gained through processing all evidence of the unknown through the self and making a determination from within ourselves only, not from outside of ourselves.

Regardless if you disagree with another's perspective, opinions, or beliefs, ignoring them is not always the wisest thing to do. They may actually be completely wrong about something but the key is to understand why they are believing what they are believing and to look at their beliefs or opinions from the perspective that they are seeing it from and learn why they are seeing things as they are and prevent yourself from making the same mistake. You can try to change another's perspective and take their blinders off, but do not waste your time for very long because some people will never try to see certain things from another angle and only fight you all the way.....
I do not advocate changing another's beliefs or path unless I see them harming themselves and or others and heading towards destruction.....but even then sometimes nothing can be done.....It's important to understand why these things sometimes happen and to prevent yourself from falling into the same trap that others are sometimes trapped in.
EXAMPLE: Kind of like the TV show; "Intervention"....out of love and compassion you can try to steer someone on the right path or to help themselves in a more productive and healthy way, but if they themselves choose not to change their direction, nothing really can be done.
